Browser Notifications

Receive real-time push notifications even when the app is in the background

Price alerts notify you when the market reaches a specific level or when an indicator condition is met. There are two types:

Static Alerts — Set a fixed price level and get notified when the market reaches it. Useful for support/resistance levels, round numbers, and key price targets.

Dynamic Alerts — Track a moving indicator and get notified when price interacts with it. The alert level updates automatically as the indicator moves.

Available dynamic indicators:

VWAP (Volume Weighted Average Price)
POC (Point of Control)
VAH / VAL (Value Area High / Low)
EMA 20, 50, 200 (Exponential Moving Averages)
SMA 20, 50, 200 (Simple Moving Averages)

Trigger conditions:

Crosses above: Price moves from below to above the level
Crosses below: Price moves from above to below the level
Crosses either direction: Any crossing triggers the alert

Control how often an alert fires to avoid notification overload. Choose a frequency based on your trading style:

GEX (Gamma Exposure) alerts monitor options flow data and notify you of significant structural changes in the gamma landscape:

Gamma Flip Detection — Alerts when the market crosses from positive to negative gamma (or vice versa). Regime changes often precede large directional moves.

Wall Crossover — Fires when price crosses a major call or put wall. These levels often act as magnets or barriers.

Reshuffle Detection — Detects when the gamma structure undergoes a major reorganization, signaling a potential shift in market dynamics.

Wall Migration — Alerts when key gamma levels (call wall, put wall) shift significantly from their previous positions.

Divergence alerts use options-derived signals to warn you about potential market regime changes:

Bearish Skew Alerts — Triggered when put skew increases significantly, indicating growing demand for downside protection.

Breakout Setup Alerts — Fires when options positioning suggests a breakout is likely, with compressed volatility and building directional pressure.

Gamma Approach Alerts — Notifies you when price is approaching a major gamma level that could cause acceleration or reversal.

Regime Warning Alerts — Broad warning when multiple divergence signals align, suggesting a significant market shift may be imminent.

Profitabul uses browser push notifications to alert you even when the app is running in the background or another tab is active.

Enable notifications: Click the bell icon in the header and grant permission when prompted
Permission setup: Your browser will ask to allow notifications from Profitabul—click "Allow"
Notification center: All alerts are also logged in the in-app notification center, accessible from the bell icon
Sound alerts: Optional audio notification when alerts fire

If you accidentally blocked notifications, go to your browser's site settings for Profitabul and change the notification permission to "Allow."

Set GEX alerts for gamma flips—regime changes often precede big moves. Combine with price alerts at key levels for a powerful early warning system.
