Multi-signal alignment scoring for higher-probability setups
A single GEX signal is noisy. Multiple signals pointing at the same level is dramatic. The Index Confluence Scorecard measures how many GEX and options signals converge at a given level or time, then backtests historical accuracy at each confluence level.
| Signals Aligned | Hit Rate | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 2 | ~54% | Near random. Weak edge. |
| 3 | ~63% | Acceptable. Enter with normal size. |
| 4 | ~71% | Strong edge. Full-size setup. |
| 5 | ~78% | High-conviction. Consider adding. |
| 6 | ~84% | Rare. Max conviction. |
Set a minimum confluence threshold based on your risk tolerance. Three signals is reasonable for most setups, four or more is ideal. Anything below three, pass. The scorecard turns vague "this looks good" feelings into a statistical filter you can actually trust.
