How POC levels shift over time and what migration reveals about trends
POC Migration tracks how the Point of Control (the highest-volume price level) moves from session to session. Consistent upward POC migration indicates bullish value acceptance; downward migration indicates bearish acceptance. This is one of the most reliable multi-day trend indicators.
Trade in the direction of POC migration for swing positions. When POC is migrating upward, buy pullbacks to the prior session's POC. When POC migration stalls after a trend, prepare for either reversal or breakout — tighten stops and reduce position size until direction is confirmed.
